About the Opportunity
Purcell's now has multiple opportunities for CNC Machinists to join their manufacturing team in the Gladstone workshop.
These are full-time positions working a rotating roster of day and night shifts, operating a wide variety of CNC machines including the programming, operation and setting of CNC Multi Axis lathes, mills, machine centers and horizontal borers.
To be considered for one of these positions, you will hold relevant trade qualifications as a Fitter and Turner and/or Machinist. Working experience is desirable, however not essential provided a qualification is held.
Any experience in basic welding and cutting and/or a current Forklift ticket, will be well-regarded, but are not mandatory.
Importantly, Purcell's is looking for people with good communications skills and a level of pride in the work they are delivering for clients. You will be comfortable reading and understanding engineering drawings and be able to work efficiently, whilst still ensuring safety measures are followed at all times.

An attractive salary is on offer circa $80,000 to $120,000 plus super, negotiable with skills and experience. This includes the additional loading for night shift and overtime paid as appropriate.
There are also fantastic training opportunities, as Purcell's will provide ongoing training and upskilling to help you learn all of the different machines they have available.
