About the Opportunity
Purcell's has an opportunity for an On-Site Machinist to join their manufacturing team based out of the Gladstone workshop & working as needed on-site across QLD, NSW & WA.
This is a full-time position working a rotating roster of day and night shifts, where you will work operating a wide variety of machines.
To be considered for the position, you will have relevant experience using the following;
- lineboring & onsite milling
- lathes,
- milling machines,
- drill presses
- vertical/horizontal cut off saws
Advanced skills are required in one or more of the following areas: Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems, Piping Systems and PLC Programming. In addition, it would be beneficial for the candidate to have their MR Truck license, Forklift Licence or their Mining Inductions s11, however this is not essential.
In this role you need to be flexible & comfortable working away from home for up to 2-3 weeks at a time.
The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, time efficient, co-operative and a team player. A can-do attitude and willingness to learn will be key attributes for this role.
