About the Opportunity

Warwick Credit Union now have an exciting Executive opportunity for a hands-on Head of Sales and Service to join their team in Warwick, QLD.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be primarily responsible for the sales, service and marketing functions of the Credit Union, closely participating at all levels from strategy development to business acquisition.

Core duties:

  • Lead sales and marketing staff to acquire and retain customers within Warwick's target market; 
  • Represent the Credit Union as a member of the executive team;
  • Ensure strategy is translated into effective on-the-ground actions;
  • Manage customers, decision loans within delegation, and resolve disputes; and
  • Ensure effort is aligned with Warwick's risk appetite and portfolio goals.

This role will see you working primarily in our Warwick office and loan centre, and will also provide you with the opportunity to travel periodically to connect with our branches around the area.

Who Are We Looking For?

To be successful in this role, you will have a deep understanding of sales, leading and adapting to the needs and growth ambitions of a smaller credit union targeting $1bn in assets over 5 years in a technology dominated future.

You will have experience within the Credit Union, Banking, or related financial sector. A tertiary degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field will be beneficial but is not essential if you have significant demonstrable experience. 

A natural problem solver, the successful candidate will also need to be a confident communicator with patience and empathy when working with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally.
