About the Opportunity

Pace has a rewarding new opportunity for a full-time Site Manager to join their team in Sunshine, VIC.

Reporting to the Project Manager, your main responsibility is to oversee, supervise and implement construction activities, schedules and budgets for the site, including staff and trade contractors. This ensures various projects are completed and meet all quality standards in a safe, cost effective and timely manner.

Core responsibilities:

  • Supervision and management of the day-to-day site operations.
  • Interpret building plans, regulations and codes, and monitor projects to ensure they are compliant with Australian Standards.
  • Encourage a safety culture and ensure workplace safety.
  • Assist the Project Manager in implementing and complying with permits and agreements, including protection works, building and council to complete works.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be an enthusiastic and hardworking individual, with proven project management and/or foreman experience in the construction industry.

Construction Induction Training (CIT), a Red/White card, and Level 2 First Aid training are a requirement for this role. Experience with Procore and HammerTech is highly desirable, but not essential.

You will need to be an effective communicator, with exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills. You also need to be able to support and effectively lead the site team.

As Site Manager, you will need to have exceptional administrative skills, and be able to forecast, schedule and invoice various elements of each project.
