About the Opportunity
Pintupi Homelands Health Service (PHHS) now has an exciting opportunity for two passionate and experienced Aged Care Managers to join their team in Kintore, NT. This shared role is one of a kind, offering you the ultimate work/life balance through one month on, one month off.
Reporting to the Health Service Manager, your key responsibility will be to plan and coordinate Aged Care services and the School Nutrition Program to ensure the delivery of high quality, culturally safe, and appropriate care.
More specifically, your duties will include (but are not be limited to):
- Encourage an efficient client-centred delivery, effective communication and promotion of Primary Health Care;
- Provide general health care assessment and management of a broad range of clinical problems in consultation with the General Practitioner, and in accordance with the CARPA Standard Treatment Manual and the Minymaku Kutju Tjukurpa Women's Business Manual;
- Coordinate effective service delivery to meet the needs of each client, ensuring high-quality service that reflects PHHS philosophies and meets community needs; and
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to enhance client service delivery, wellbeing and independence, whilst meeting funding body requirements of practice and positively promoting the PHHS mission and Aged Care service.

About You
To be successful, you will hold a bachelor's qualification in Nursing and have completed your registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a registered nurse.
You will be an excellent communicator with well developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge of Aged Care Standards Frameworks and have the proven ability to develop staff, foster teamwork and effectively work as a team member whilst providing leadership to the Aged Care support team.
You will also be required to be an empathetic individual and have experience and skills in cross-cultural teamwork and indigenous culture.
Please Note: Before commencing in this role, you have a current Manual Driver's Licence, OCHRE Card and a national police check.

Pintupi Homelands Health Service (PHHS) is an expanding AGPAL accredited primary healthcare facility located in Kintore. We have a dedicated team of nurses, health promotion officers, Aboriginal Health Workers, doctors and support staff that help provide health services to the close-knit community.
