About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Remote Hospitality Venue Manager to lead a strong motivated team of tourism professionals. 

This role is responsible for leading the operational and strategic functions of the team, to ensure the effective management of all aspects of the business while adhering to all relevant budgets and timeframes.

You key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the daily Human Resources functions, including staffing levels, employee relations, OHS and performance management;
  • Analysing and reporting on relevant business information, to inform the efficient operation of the business;
  • Planning and implementing scheduled refurbishment and maintenance to ensure all facilities remain at a high standard;
  • Assisting in the development of business plans including budgets, goals and marketing plans;
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory and other regulatory requirements for a modern hotel operation.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience in hospitality venue management, within a modern hotel environment

You'll have a strong customer service focus, along with great people management skills, excellent personal presentation, and a professional demeanour, to enable you to deliver an exceptional service to a high standard.

You will need strong communication skills along with a friendly, helpful and patient attitude. You will also possess strong business acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to ensure services meet quality standards while operating within budget requirements.

Due to the fast-paced and varied nature of the role, it's crucial you also be disciplined and have a keen eye for detail. You'll be well versed in managing competing priorities, with a hands-on approach to your work - you won't be afraid to roll up your sleeves and help wherever needed.
