About the Opportunity
Arrow Energy is seeking a Wellfield Technician to join their Operations Department in Moranbah.
Reporting to the Wellfield Superintendent, the successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of Gas Well assets at the Company's northern fields.
Key duties of the role include:
- Maximising Well availability and optimising Well utilisation;
- Optimising procurement and utilisation of consumables;
- Coordinating availability and event reporting;
- Performing fault detection and elimination;
- Conducting procedure development; and
- Complying with Permit to Work System
The ideal candidate will hold a mechanical trade certificate, however, Year 10 Trade Mathematics (or equivalent) is essential. In addition, they will posses strong communication skills, comprehension of technical writing and be conversant with telephone and radio communications protocols.
This role will suit a candidate with demonstrated knowledge in Gas Fitting Techniques, and experience of working within a Work Permit System.
Arrow is seeking a self-motivated individual with excellent deductive observation and reasoning skills. A strong work ethic, and the ability to work autonomously is vital, as is the capacity to work effectively within a team.
