As a Senior Account Manager for the Local Government sector, you will be at the forefront of our vision, driving our growth across your account base.

As the primary contact for existing customers, you'll take a strategic view of a portfolio of Local Government accounts, owning customer relationships and ensuring they have a high level of satisfaction while driving new business sales across new and existing customers. 

We set our Account Managers up for success. With a highly configurable suite of solutions and the support of established bid management, technical presales and marketing teams, you're equipped with the resources to succeed. 

 

What you'll be doing…

  • Owning customer relationships and managing all activities across your portfolio of existing customers
  • Developing and executing against a strategic account plan
  • Prospecting and pipeline generation within the Local Government sector
  • Understanding existing customer’s strategic objectives, buying criteria and decision making processes
  • Identifying and resolving customer issues by co-ordinating the activities of SDMs, BDMs, Support, Project Managers and Consulting Directors and following up to ensure issues have been resolved 
  • Achieving target revenue by generating product business leads, closing sales and increasing TechnologyOne’s coverage within the existing customer base

 

Your talents...

  • Proven sales experience preferably in B2B sales
  • Understanding of Enterprise software or technology sales
  • Experience selling within the Local Government sector advantageous
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate to a variety of stakeholder levels
  • Complete understanding of customer’s objectives, buying criteria and decision-making processes and ability to form long term partnerships to leverage revenue
  • Capable of working successfully within a fast-paced environment, with a wide variety of stakeholders delivering an exceptional customer experience
