Macfarlane Generators now has an opportunity for an Electrical Showroom Manager to join their team based in Clayton, VIC to take on a leadership role within the store! This is the perfect opportunity to take your power generator knowledge gained from a hardware or electrical retailer and step into a leadership role, or to get off the tools as a sparky and put your generator knowledge towards a bigger new career!
Some of your day-to-day duties will include:
- Ensuring company sales and other procedures are adhered to;
- Performing showroom duties including stocking, labelling, testing, tagging, and ensuring there are no vacant spaces;
- Attending to any customer enquiries and issues within a timely manner; and
- Actively seeking new business opportunities for the company.

What you'll need
- Well organised and able to communicate effectively to both customer and others in the business.
- A current Manual Drivers license;
- You don’t need to be an electrician however, power generation experience with knowledge and understanding of the products sold and equipment used from a past retail or electrical background (e.g. kVA/ kW/ Amps/ Volts/ Engine size/ Fuel consumption/ Fuel tank sizes, etc) will be highly regarded; and
- The willingness to assist customers effectively and efficiently
