We are EREA Edmund Rice Flexi School, co-located at the Elizabeth TAFE Campus and at a new site in Davoren Park. It is part of the EREA Oscar Romero Flexi Schools Network. Your opportunity

The School has an exciting and rewarding opportunity for two full-time Teachers (years 7-12) who are PASSIONATE about their craft and who have expertise across English, Humanities or Maths Science/PE.

We're looking for experienced Teachers who are passionate about teaching young people in Middle and Senior years of schooling. You’ll draw on your 3+ years of teaching in secondary classes across the disciplines of English/SOSE/PLP or Maths/Science and developing a flexible curriculum.

You’ve mastered your craft and are ready to be with an employer who’ll provide you the opportunity to bring your expertise in creative, supportive and innovative program delivery to our flexible model of delivery.

You must hold:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Teaching;
  • Teacher Registration in SA;
  • A clearance from the Catholic Diocese of Adelaide; and
  • A current unrestricted drivers license

Candidates who have experience teaching young people with special needs and SACE Flexibilities will be highly regarded.

Reporting to the Head of Campus and the Network Principal, this role will see you responsible for implementing learning programs that cater to the needs of secondary-aged students who have disengaged from mainstream education, encouraging our young people to achieve educational and wellbeing outcomes and make a positive contribution to their community.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining learning and social inclusion responses of the campus, including:

  1. Planning, preparation and delivery of engaging learning and teaching programs for young people in both middle and senior phases of secondary education including project-based learning, PLPs and SACE programs with a focus on English, Humanities and PLP or Maths, Science and PE
  2. Contributing to the development and implementation of the FLC’s objectives and planning; and
  3. Contributing to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive school environment.

Please note: This role requires regular travel around Elizabeth, including transporting students, and as such, a Current Unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence is essential, with Light Rigid highly regarded.
