About the Opportunity
EC Power now has an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Electrician to join their team in Silverwater, NSW, on a permanent, full-time basis. You will work from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday, with compensated overtime and Saturday work available at times.
This position will see you carrying out electrical work for predominantly commercial projects in Sydney and surrounding areas. You will be based on-site, generally working on one project at a time.
Core duties:
- Carry out new installation work and renovations, including installing and upgrading switchboards
- Perform general maintenance and identify faults
- Rough In/Fit Off
- Lighting & Power Installation
- Mains & Submains Installation/Terminations
- MSB & DB Installation/Termination
- Cable Tray Installation
- Read, understand, and carry out works according to Electrical and Architectural plans
- Ensure you and your team complete all work according to Australian Electrical Safety Standards
About You
You might be an electrician with years of experience, or you might be just out of your apprenticeship. You will be ambitious and keen to grow your career within a well-established organisation. EC Power is looking for someone to take on exciting new opportunities as your skills develop.
In this role, you must demonstrate a high degree of initiative and problem-solving abilities, as well as a keen eye for detail and strong time management skills.
As you will be building relationships with clients and stakeholders, you will also possess exceptional communication and customer service skills and maintain a personable approach in your dealings.
Please note: You will need to hold a current Australian driver's licence before commencing employment.
