EREA Oscar Romero Flexi Schools Network is now looking for two dedicated and experienced Teachers to join a supportive and caring team on a full-time basis. This role will give you the opportunity to mentor and provide support to young Aboriginal students, making a real difference and leaving a positive mark on their lives. We are looking for Educators who are genuinely passionate about their craft and who possess the empathy and understanding to help young people reconnect with education and make positive changes for their future.
In this rewarding and role, you will implement teaching strategies and programs that cater to the needs of secondary-aged Aboriginal students looking to reconnect with education in an inclusive and flexible setting. We are currently on the lookout for:
- Middle school/secondary teachers
- Teachers with VET experience
- Teachers with Outdoor Education
- Teachers with STEAM experience
What you will bring to the team
To be considered, you must have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Teaching and be eligible for registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Northern Territory;
- Demonstrated classroom experience in a diverse Primary or Secondary educational environment;
- Experience or understanding of working with first nations students; and
- Be eligible for a Working with Children Clearance (NT OCHRE Card).
You will have demonstrated skills and knowledge in the teaching process, frameworks and practice, as well as the ability to analyse complex situations and implement appropriate strategies to enhance the professional practice of teaching and non-teaching staff.
Crucial to this role will be your ability to empathise, mentor and provide support to our students with compassion, respect and an understanding of Indigenous cultures and communities.

Our teaching roles come with an attractive salary circa $80,000 – $105,000 (dependent on skills and experience) plus 10% super.
