About the Opportunity
NPY Women's Council has an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join our team, based in Alice Springs, NT.
Lead our People & Workplace Services team, which consists of Human Resources, Business Support, Properties and Vehicle Maintenance.
You will play a critical role at NPY Women's Council by introducing new and different perspectives and practices; operations, leadership, culture and capability.
Core duties:
- Lead a diverse and skilled team that involves a mixture of day-to-day operations and strategic projects.
- Manage the day to day HR function, which includes generalist advice across all portfolios to staff and managers.
- Lead the development and delivery of the NPY Women’s Council Workforce Development and Capability Framework (WDCF).
- In combination with the WDCF, lead the development and delivery of the NPY Women’s Council Learning and Development Framework.
- Lead the delivery and integration of Employment Hero, the new Human Resource Information System.
- Oversee the effective administration of the PAWS processes such as planning, policy review, data collection, including continuous quality improvement to ensure effective implementation of projects and systems.
- Organise and engage the PAWS team in a range of continuous quality improvement processes, including developing an annual PAWS operational plan to guide the service's operation effectively.
About You
To thrive in this role, you will have multiple years of experience leading a HR team, have highly developed communication skills and a high level of emotional intelligence.
We are seeking a skilled, passionate, motivated and hardworking person to join our team. You will have the ability to work autonomously, to be flexible and resourceful.
Ideally, you will have experience working in a cross cultural environment or remote context.You will demonstrate a sound understanding of trauma informed practices and will have a genuine interest in working alongside Anangu.
