Opportunities are available in Western Australia throughout the Pilbara, with residential roles offered in Port Hedland and Kalgoorlie and FIFO ex Perth. 

We have flexible full-time opportunities available for level 2, level 3, and Leading Hand Belt Splicers.

Your Expertise 

To be successful in this role you have a Certificate III in Polymer Processing or equivalent industry experience and the ability to gain Recognised Prior Learning. 

As part of a team of 4 to 8 reporting to a Leading Hand, these hands-on roles will see you performing the effective maintenance and flow of our client’s conveyors, including the management of breakdowns and emergency repairs. You will be an experienced Belt Splicer, with the opportunity for fast progression available to the role of Leading Hand, for those ready for this next step. 


You will also demonstrate an uncompromising approach to safety ensuring you are always operating in a safe and secure manner while supporting your team to do the same, through highly effective communication. 

Some key qualifications that will support your application are:

  • Working at heights 
  • Gas testing atmosphere
  • Confined spaces
  • HR license (desirable)
  • Rigger/Dogger ticket (desirable)
  • Forklift ticket (desirable

Just as importantly, you will be a proactive team player who strives to tackle each day with optimism and a strong sense of urgency to ensure each site’s needs are met and your team smashes its goals.

Rosters will vary according to site and client requirements with the majority working 12-hour shifts and rotating between day and night.
