We are now seeking an experienced Aged Care professional to join us as a full-time Aged Care Manager here in Kogarah, NSW!
What you'll do
Taking on a new key management position as the Aged Care Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Aged Care team; ensuring accountability for the quality and integrity of the work outputs and overall workflow, as well as leading the future growth and success of both the program and the team.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
- Ensuring governance and compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, relevant Aged Care legislation and KCS policies & procedures;
- Implementing performance development frameworks to ensure continuous improvement;
- Using exceptional report writing and communication skills across both internal and external stakeholders to ensure two-way communication;
- Providing mentorship and ongoing professional development to staff, leading best practice by example;
- Operating within service budgets and providing accurate reporting; and most importantly
- Designing the new aged care program in line with the “Support at Home Program”, effective as of 1st of July 2023.
What we need
To be successful you will have significant experience in a similar management role. A tertiary qualification in Aged Care, Nursing or Social Services is considered essential.
With demonstrated leadership skills, you will be confident providing support to staff and working in a highly interactive team. You will also need to be highly organised and have a solid understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant Work Health and Safety legislation. Any prior experience with change management is considered highly desirable.
Finally, we are looking for an individual with a demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and promote a positive work environment. You'll be genuinely committed to the work we deliver, and passionate about supporting people of all ages to participate in the community and create meaningful connections.
