Flexible Opportunity
Due to well-earned retirement, we have a rare opportunity for a Senior Associate - Litigation! This role would suit an experienced Corporate or Commercial Lawyer seeking full-time or flexible arrangements.
As Senior Associate - Litigation, you will report to the Director (Head of Litigation), applying your extensive consulting experience to strategise case-by-case outcomes tactfully, efficiently, and effectively. You will need to maintain active and transparent communication with all staff; from industry veterans to interns. Similarly, you will need to be confident liaising ethically with clients of all backgrounds, from varying industries.
You will ideally have demonstrable experience with at least two of the following fields:
- Building and construction law;
- Planning and environment;
- General litigation;
- Debt recovery;
- Insolvency;
- Estate litigation and disputes, or;
- Contractual and trade practice disputes
McCarthy Durie Lawyers’ scope typically serves residents through to mid-size building, construction, planning, and environment projects - as such, these specialties will be highly favoured.
