BirdLife Australia

BirdLife Australia is a national, grassroots charity with over 220,000 supporters. For over a century, we have been the voice of Australia’s birdlife, from protecting birds and their habitats to on-ground projects and advocacy informed by rigorous science. Our core programs adopt a multi-species landscape-scale approach to conservation, including beach-nesting shorebirds, woodland birds, mallee birds and globally critical habitat, which we call Key Biodiversity Areas.

We are embarking on an exciting journey of transformational change with a new Bird Conservation Strategy (2022 – 2032). Our organisational effectiveness strategy is a key enabling strategy to ensure BirdLife can reach its full potential for impact and deliver the Bird Conservation Strategy priorities.
