Our newly formed Perth team are experiencing exponential growth and are now seeking a top-notch Service Technician!

About the opportunity:
As a Mediquip Service Technician, you will report to the Regional Manager, but you will navigate this role fairly autonomously. You will primarily provide mobile electro-mechanical service & repair services, as well as periodic gas and sterilisation equipment maintenance (autoclaves & washer disinfectors) within the healthcare, veterinary, dental, aged care, and simulation sectors.
This dynamic role is well suited to a variety of trades backgrounds! Due to the diverse technical nature of the role, training and support will be provided for clinical facets.
This is an exciting opportunity to provide paramount biomedical expertise, so previous biomedical service/repair experience would be advantageous, but is not essential to the right candidate.
Essential prerequisites:
- Personable approach, able to confidently articulate technical services to clients;
- Strong analytical skills, equipped with mental & electronic aptitudes, and able to efficiently source faults;
- Keen problem-solving & ability to provide effective solutions in a timely manner;
- Propensity to learn and willingness to develop trade-relevant skills (if you can demonstrate this, we can teach you the rest!);
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s licence with a willingness to travel intra/interstate where required, and;
- Full COVID-19 vaccination + willingness to obtain the yearly flu vaccination
Additionally, whilst not essential these are desirable and will be highly regarded: restricted electrical licence, electrical trade certificate, electronics/communications certificate, motor vehicle repairer’s certificate or similar, and previous experience in a customer-facing role.
