We are now looking for a motivated and skilled Senior Engineering Designer to join our team. Our Asset Management plans underline everything that we do with our infrastructure. In these roles, you will work with our Project Planners to deliver and implement our Asset Management plans throughout the region.
Your new opportunity
In this role, you will prepare and deliver high-quality designs, specifications, timely construction drawings and estimates to meet civil infrastructure work schedules and project requirements.
Our ideal candidate will ideally possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering, or equivalent qualification and demonstrated experience in civil and municipal works design, costing management or construction project work. You will also have previous experience and proficient in computer-aided design, drafting and modelling software, in particular 12d Model, AutoCAD or BricsCAD.
This role comes with an attractive salary circa $90,000 (dependent on skills and experience) plus super, a civil liability allowance of 3.5% and salary packaging options!

What you will bring to the team
Candidates with local government experience will be held in high regard though this is not essential.
These roles will require you to work closely with different teams across the organisation and a wide range of stakeholders. As such, excellent communication skills are a must as is the capability to develop strong working relationships and provide long-term asset solutions to match the community’s needs.
