Preserving a Legacy and Forging a Bright Future

The Australian Vietnamese Women’s Association is a not-for-profit, diverse service provider that focuses on supporting refugees and migrants of Vietnamese background in Victoria.

We value a harmonious society in which everyone, irrespective of age, gender, skills, abilities, ethnicity or religion, feels valued, is motivated and empowered. To achieve this harmonious society and help our members integrate smoothly into new opportunities, we have a large network of staff and volunteers who dedicate their time to ensuring our services are accessible and inclusive. Mrs. Cam Nguyen (CEO), Ms. Thanh Kham Tran Dang (President), and Professor Nathalie Nguyen were among the co-founders of what was at first known as the Australian Vietnamese Women’s Welfare Association, in 1983. Since then, the Australian Vietnamese Women's Association has seen the growth of our 5 primary services.

Due to the planned retirement of our devoted Mrs. Cam Nguyen, we are now searching for an innovative and empathetic CEO to step up for this rare and exciting opportunity.
