Professional & reliable care

We have been providing top-quality home care services in Australia since 2015, and will continue to do so well into the future.

We believe that too many home care services in Australia are set up to make money. Of course, a business needs to make a profit, but this shouldn’t be the sole aim of a home care company. With us, we always put the client first. Care should be shaped around individuals, putting their preferences at the centre of all the services that support them. This approach shapes everything we do – from the planning stage down to the practical tasks we do for our clients each day.

Our mission is to provide professional and reliable care and support services to all clients. This approach encompasses all that we do at our practice based here in Glebe, located in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. We now have multiple exciting opportunities available for Support Workers on a casual contract to offer professional and highly individualised home care, including domestic assistance, personal care, palliative care, in home respite, social support and more.

Perks of the role

When coming to work with us you can expect a close-knit team with a family-like atmosphere. Although we are a nationwide company you will feel a sense of community here at Glebe! Not only will you form lasting relationships with your colleagues, you will also form some unbreakable bonds with our clients.

You will have the opportunity to earn while you learn due to the flexible hours we offer. These opportunities will be fantastic for University students studying in a relevant field!

Earn a competitive hourly rate circa $29.19 per hour with increased pay on weekends and public holidays (Saturday = $40.86 p/h, Sunday = $52.54 p/h & Public Holidays = $62.61 p/h)!

Additional benefits include:

  • Super;
  • A company car for work use; and
  • Provided equipment (no need to use your own!).

What you'll do

Your primary responsibility will be providing professional and highly individualised home care, including domestic assistance, personal care, palliative care, in home respite, social support and more. Regular travel during work is a requirement, although most clients live locally in the Eastern Suburbs. You will be provided with a company car and occasional travel to the Northern Beaches will be required. Hours are available Monday through Sunday across a variety of hours, therefore it is imperative that you have a reasonable level of availability across these days.

Your core responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Provide a safe and secure environment for those in your care;
  • Facilitate client participation in a range of appropriate activities; and
  • Develop accurate case notes, interaction records, log entries, client incident reports, and plans

What we need

To be successful in this role it is not essential that you have any qualification, provided you are in possession of a Working With Children's Check (WWCC), a Police Check, First-Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate. While not essential, a qualification in support work or another related discipline will be highly regarded. This role may also suit a Nurse from overseas.

The most imperative requirements for the role are related to your personality and behavioural attributes. You will be a warm and personable individual who provides good company and possesses a genuine care for the client. We pride ourselves on our personable care and we need to ensure that all our employees also carry this quality of personableness.

Due to the nature of our shift structure, we hope to employ Support Workers who live within a reasonable drive of Sydney's Eastern suburbs. Although not a requirement for the role, candidates who can speak Portuguese will be highly regarded.

Please note: You must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including your booster.
