What roles are available
Opportunities are available for Secondary Teachers in the areas of Physical Education and Science.
Reporting to the School Principal, you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Effectively organise your classes to achieve. Deliver values-based care & discipline of students whilst encouraging a high standard of work;
- Evaluate and assess student progress, reporting to parents verbally and via written communication;
- Adapt the school's curriculum and values-based ethos to plan, program, and teach respective classes;
- Represent the College at staff meetings, parent/teacher meetings, interviews, worship, and staff devotions, as well as development courses and out of hours school functions as required by the College, and;
- Actively supervise rostered playground duties, reporting areas of maintenance needs to the office

What we need from you
To be considered for any of these roles you must be a qualified Teacher with QLD Teacher Registration (or ability to obtain). We are open to applications from graduates. It is imperative that you have the ability to implement the school’s Christian values and philosophy in the classroom and other aspects of College life to foster faith and deliver significant educational outcomes for students.
Successful candidates will be able to utilise a variety of teaching resources to plan exciting units of study across subject areas and will be competent in using technology within the classroom, including relevant computer programs.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential, including effectively communicating with, motivating, and inspiring students and developing effective working relationships with parents, senior management, and staff.
