We now have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Social Worker or Psychologist to join our team as a contractor working to your schedule. Your hard work will be instrumental in ensuring positive mental health outcomes in communities across Australia.
Ensuring positive outcomes
In taking on this exciting new opportunity as a Mental Health Social Worker or Psychologist you will be working with an experienced multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based assessments, interventions and formulate mental health treatment plans.
Your core duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Provision of assessments and interventions in addition to co-ordinating care for individuals seeking mental health support.
- Regular supervision with the Principal psychologist for training and support in planning care and the formulation of mental health treatment plans.
- Produce accurate, timely and appropriate letters for GPs under Medicare in addition to reports and other administrative tasks as required.
- Ensuring you have appropriate internet speed to ensure you can have zoom sessions with clients.
What we need from you
To be successful in this role you will be a Social Worker and be a current member of the AASW (Australian Association of Social Workers) and Medicare registration, or Psychologist and be registered with AHPRA and have Medicare registration. You will also require a current Medicare provider number and a background in delivering mental health interventions ideally across a variety of individuals. You will need to be able to provide Medicare rebates.
