What you'll do
As a Child Care Room Leader your primary responsibility is to deliver the highest quality care and education for children through the implementation of thoughtful programming and excellent practice.
Core duties (will include, will not be limited to):
- Provide a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment;
- Provide and implement a program based on EYLF (Early Years Learning Framework);
- Support, mentor and coach your Room Assistant;
- Support staff in all other aspects of the centre as part of the larger team;
- Work in partnership with families to assess children's needs
What we need from you
To be successful in the role you will require a Diploma of Early Childhood Education or be studying towards this qualification. You should also have had several years experience in an early childhood setting.
It is likewise imperative that you have the correct aptitude for the role. You must possess the following attributes:
- Passionate;
- Team player; and
- Ability to mentor
Please note: You will require a current blue card, first- aid certificate and provide a vaccination certificate for COVID-19.
