Civic Disability Services is a not-for-profit organisation that provides services to individuals with a disability. Our team provide Person Centred Active Support (PCAS) to individuals in Sydney and regional areas, enabling them to reach their full potential, achieve their goals and participate as valued members of the community.

We are now on the lookout for Employment Support Workers in Sydney to join our team on a full-time basis and help us make a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities by supporting them to develop and build confidence in a work environment.

As an Employment Support Worker you will lead a team that coordinates activities including administration, packing, warehousing, and mailing, focusing on setting our workers up for success.

Make a real difference

Working closely with the Production Leader, you will deliver Person Centred Active Support in accordance with the Practice Framework in all aspects of client employment.

Your core duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Support our clients to access opportunities for personal growth, skill development and achievement of their plans and goals;
  • Provide assistance to our clients and help them achieve independence in their daily employment;
  • Support in the evaluation and documentation of our clients’ progress towards their goals and plans;
  • Coordinate and implement our clients’ plans or reports; and
  • Maintain our wage assessment tool, FOFMs/NDIS reporting and other documentation requirements.
