About the Opportunity
Arrow Energy is seeking two Cultural Heritage Coordinators to join its team, one in Dalby and the other in Moranbah.
The successful candidates will be responsible for working with Traditional Owner Field Officers to complete cultural heritage surveys. The role will implement processes, policies, guidelines and strategies to ensure Arrow's compliance with its statutory duty of care in respect of Aboriginal cultural heritage.
This role includes communication with operations, environment, land access staff, contractors and service providers regarding the day to day management and logistics for the efficient implementation of Arrow's Cultural Heritage Management Strategy on Arrow's existing and future petroleum tenures.
The role will be responsible for coordinating all cultural heritage field activities resulting from Arrow's agreements with Aboriginal communities connected to its areas of operation. This responsibility will include provision of OHS inductions, overall coordination of Traditional Owner Field Officers and record keeping.
The ideal candidates will have experience working with Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander communities on land management issues. Tertiary qualifications in archaeology or geoscience will be well regarded.
