In this role, your key responsibility will be to provide quality service and backup to our drillers and equipment, ensuring we minimise hazards, downtime and financial loss.
Your core duties will fall within the following themes:
- Skills development: develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the JSW Policy and Procedures. Participate in continuing training and development.
- Day-to-day operations: maintain the operable machinery to maximise productivity and reduce downtime to a minimum, diagnose and troubleshoot faults.
- Safety-minded: be safety-minded and adhere to JSW Safety Standards, Procedures and Policies.
- Client-obsessed: work with JSW clients to fulfil their needs and represent JSW in a professional manner.
- Sustainable practices: maintain environmental standards for the collection and storage of all hazardous materials and waste.
Join the JSW team
We are looking for Drill Fitters that possess an Australian recognised trade certificate and ideally have a valid Australian HR-B (minimum) licence.
Although not essential, previous experience with DTH blast hole drills, RC Rigs, and support equipment will be highly regarded.
If you are a Heavy Duty Fitter with mobile plant experience, we highly encourage you to apply! We will develop a structured individual training plan for you to ensure you thrive in this role.
