About the Opportunity

The Men’s Case Manager is a full-time position, located in Lilydale, Melbourne.

The successful applicant will provide case management and case coordination to male users of violence, using an outreach model of service delivery. Assisting Aboriginal men to use a range of Men’s Behaviour Change strategies that promote accountability and responsibility.

Core Duties:

  • Provide case management and effective case coordination using an outreach model of service delivery
  • Undertake Family Violence Risk Assessments’
  • Provide ongoing analysis of safety, risk, and wellbeing
  • Make appropriate referrals and connections
  • Keep and maintain client records in line with quality assurance requirements including data collection.
  • Engage with partnered organisations, services, and stakeholders.
  • Abide by all privacy and confidentiality policies and legislation.

About You

You have an interest in providing me with opportunities for behaviour change and a commitment to creative healing opportunities for men and families.

Essential

  • Current Victorian Driver’s License
  • Current Working with Children’s Check & National Police Check (if not currently held, BWAHS will support you to obtain)

Desirable

  • Tertiary qualification or willingness to obtain one in a field relevant to the position
  • Case management experience
  • Experience working in the family violence sector or related areas would be beneficial but not essential
  • First Aid Qualification
