We are chartered by ordinance to assist the Sydney Anglican diocese in its ministry towards children, youth, and families with the freedom to serve beyond this field (both denominationally and geographically). Youthworks, therefore, seeks to help youth directly and through the institutions where they may be found, namely in families, churches, and schools. As our Digital Marketing Assistant, you will receive an attractive salary circa $55,000 – $60,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications) PLUS super.

This role comes with great benefits including three days in the office and the option to work two days from home.

Our next Digital Marketing Assistant

As Marketing Assistant, your primary objective is to ensure the Youthworks customer experience journey is great from beginning to end.

Your core duties will fall under the following themes:

  • Digital campaigns
  • Social media
  • Websites
  • SEO/SEM
  • Forward planning

The Marketing Assistant will assist the Marketing Coordinator and the Head of Marketing to develop, implement, and sustain an exciting organisational marketing strategy.

What you will bring to the team

To thrive in this role, you will have completed or be in the process of completing a university qualification in marketing, digital marketing or equivalent. You will also have demonstrated experience working in a similar Marketing role.

Crucial to your success is your understanding and/or experience with the following:

  • Google Ad accounts;
  • Developing EDM's
  • Search Engine Optimisation/Search Engine Marketing;
  • Social media platforms; and
  • Website management.

In this role, you will work alongside a range of stakeholders across the broader organisation to ensure our digital marketing content is on par with our mission and that our customers' experiences are at the forefront of all marketing collateral. As such, you will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with different personalities.

Please note: Prior to commencing in this role, you will be required to complete a Working With Children Check.
