We take pride in building close relationships within the Forestry, Construction and Mining industries as well as numerous industrial and hardware buying organisations throughout the world. 

Today we employ more than 100 team members throughout our network of state offices, warehouses and manufacturing facilities and due to our rapid growth, we are now looking for a full-time Customer Relations Officer based out of our Head Office in Brisbane, QLD, who is passionate about working with integrity and delivering quality products to be the next member of our team.

What you'll do

In this inbound sales role you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to prospective customers and other relevant stakeholders with a focus on maintaining and building new business relationships. As a key member of the team you will also be responsible for maintaining a high morale on the sales floor, celebrating the wins of your fellow colleagues and providing them with the encouragement they need when they are down.

Your key responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Customer Service: Ensuring the accurate provision of product and service information, responding to requests, placing customer orders in a timely manner and responding to requests;
  • Sales: Maintain and develop new and existing customer relationships through ethical sales methods, up-selling products and services and assisting with on-the-job training for new sales employees

What we need from you

To thrive as our new Customer Relations Officer, it's all about your attitude! You will have a high level of attention to detail and personal organisational skills allowing you to work in a team environment and manage competing demands.

Being an effective communicator will be crucial as you must provide exceptional customer service while having the ability to influence others. It will be just as crucial that you are a team player who is easy to get along with and forms productive working relationships with fellow colleagues where you feel comfortable providing peer-to-peer support. Being a personable individual will also assist you in providing exceptional levels of customer service.

Although not mandatory, previous experience in a B2B sales of industrial products or markets environment is highly regarded.
