This is an exciting opportunity for you to work with some of the biggest car brands at Chatswood Renault and LDV. The cars brands you will get to work with include Maserati, RAM, LDV, Renault, Upfitter and Alpine. 

We are opening a brand new state-of-the-art Service Centre in Artarmon, North Sydney and are looking for a Mechanic to join our new and enthusiastic team on a full-time basis. You will be working with brand new equipment and will have access to ample space and on-site parking.

You will be part of an enthusiastic and dedicated team of Mechanics who support each other and who work hard to ensure the best outcomes for our customers. 

Your next opportunity

In this role, you will carry out service and repair work on a daily basis to vehicles booked into the workshop. You will also flag any defective work, complete road test vehicles and assist in training new team members when needed. 

Core duties:

  • Receive vehicles as assigned by Workshop Foreman or Controller and perform work in a thorough, timely manner;
  • Train + supervise apprentices with approval of Service Manager;
  • Use special tools when necessary and handle all workshop equipment with care; and
  • Ensure that all vehicle services and repairs are completed on time.

You will also maintain a close working relationship with your team members, Foreman/Controller, Service Advisors, Parts Team and the After Sales Manager.

To thrive in this role, you will be a trade qualified Mechanic with thorough technical understanding and hands-on experience in maintaining franchiser products. If you are a third year apprentice with experience working in a branded car dealership, we also want to hear from you!

Moreover, you will be a proactive and easy going individual with the skills to work with and manage stress well.
