As a result of ongoing growth, we are now seeking Level 2 or 3 IT System Engineers to join our teams based at our Parkside, Adelaide or Wangara, Perth offices (level 3 Engineers only). These crucial roles will see successful candidates responsible for designing, building, testing, and implementation ICT systems and solutions for our clients.

About the Opportunity

Working remotely and onsite with our clients, you will assess their ICT requirements and then design, build, test and implement solutions to meet the client's needs. Managing the end-to-end process, you will drive client projects and be responsible for effectively documenting the scope of the work and creating accurate records for GPK and the client.

Key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

  • Retail Technologies
  • Networking
  • Servers and Storage
  • Internet Service Provision
  • Hosting
  • Cloud Technologies
  • Telecommunications 
  • Security
  • Technical support, advice, coaching, mentoring and training.

You will be providing network and hardware management for our clients. While typically, this will occur during normal Monday to Friday business hours, some after-hours work will also be available for those keen to increase their take-home pay.

What you will bring to the role

To be successful in these roles, you will need a passion for all things ICT. While tertiary qualifications in ICT will be advantageous, demonstrated experience in a similar role with a Managed Service Provider will enable you to step seamlessly into these roles.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and contribute effectively to the organisation's knowledge base.

Calm and reliable, you will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills enabling you to be creative and innovative in your solutions. You will also seek to find a long-term, permanent solution to the problems presented by your clients.

While successful candidates will be required to be familiar with a diverse range of IT systems and programs, those with experience with Barracuda firewalls, Microsoft platforms and virtual environments will be highly regarded. Similarly, experience with Connectwise ticketing and IT Glue Documentation systems will be an advantage.

Candidates will require a valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
