We now have an exciting opportunity for a full-time HR Coordinator to join our team in Darra, only 20 minutes from Brisbane CBD and very close to public transport. This is a fantastic chance for you to join a growing organisation and further develop and grow your skills in Human Resources.

This role is perfect for someone who is very career driven, has a strong willingness to learn, and is looking to jump in and further develop their skills in the Human Resources space.

Your next opportunity

As our newest HR Coordinator, you will respond to and resolve internal and external HR-related enquiries. You will also have a hands-on role in onboarding new team members and ensuring they feel welcome as they start their journey with us. This is an opportunity for you to be a true leader in this space, ensuring that our onboarding experience is second to none and that our people are supported every day.

You will provide generalist support to all areas of Human Resources, which include:

  • Recruitment, selection and onboarding/termination
  • HR administration and coordination
  • Employee relations
  • Vehicle fleet management
  • Coordination of HR lead events and initiatives
  • Payroll (one day a week)

What you will bring to the team

To thrive in this role, you will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a generalist HR role and a strong understanding of labour laws and employee/company rights, and the best practices of Human Resources.

Although not essential, a qualification in Human Resources is highly desirable.

You will be a proactive and self-motivating individual who is highly driven and who wants to grow your Human Resources career further.

Moreover, it is crucial that you have strong attention to detail and the skills to approach employee relations in a neutral and pragmatic manner.
