The salary on offer for this position is circa $100K-$110K including superannuation.
Relocation assistance will also be provided if you are moving to Mackay - including a one-off payment to contribute towards moving costs, assistance with housing for your first 1-2 months whilst you settle in, and a budget for trips back home if required.

Our Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist Opportunity
We're on the lookout for a Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist to join the team, working from the Corporate Office at Racecourse, Mackay.
Reporting to the HR Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to provide all recruiting services including the effective onboarding of personnel into the business. You'll develop and implement strategies to attract personnel into Mackay Sugar, and will also streamline onboarding processes.
Some of your key responsibilities will be to:
- Provide end-to-end resourcing and recruitment services across the cluster by providing advice and support to hiring managers on recruitment and mobility options whilst undertaking recruitment processes and activities to ensure the best candidate for our roles.
- Exercise extreme confidentiality at all times, particularly in relation to Employees and proposed Employees' personal/medical information.
- Exercise due diligence to ensure that MSL complies with its duties, as far as reasonably practicable, to ensure the health and safety of its workers and others whose activities are influenced or directed by Mackay Sugar.
- In conjunction with the HR Superintendent, provide oversight and direction to Hiring Managers in recruitment and selection of suitably qualified personnel to meet the requirements of Mackay Sugar, including preparation of advertisements, contact with employment agencies, active participation in interview processes and delivery of training for interview panels in order to undertake necessary recruitment activities;
- Ensure that onboarding activities are carried out in accordance with Company and legal compliance;
- Complete of all employment contracts including negotiations (within set parameters) and other necessary onboarding information.
The successful candidate will have experience in the recruitment and onboarding space, ideally in high volume recruitment. We're looking for someone with demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of best-practice recruitment policies and procedures.
A candidate with an interest in recruitment marketing and employer branding will be highly regarded.
In terms of personal attributes, we're looking for someone with strong people skills and team skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You'll need to be highly organised, a great problem-solver, and able to make your own decisions and take initiative.
