Since its inception in 2007, Converged Medical Solutions has been providing IT solutions and support to medical organisations within Australia. With a dedicated team of skilled IT professionals, we have become a prominent provider of these services to the healthcare sector, providing support to independent private and general medical practices, hospitals and specialist healthcare providers.

As a result of our continued growth, we are seeking IT Engineers (Level 1, 2 & 3) to join our business in our Bella Vista, NSW office. These roles will see you working with our other IT specialists to provide end-to-end solutions for our healthcare clients.

Who we're looking for

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing end-to-end IT solutions to our varied clients in the healthcare sector. This role will require you to work on-site with our clients and remotely. Additionally, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Frontline support & administration of Viirtualised infrastructure, Network and security equipment, Office 365, VMWare, Veeam, and Azure cloud environments.
  • Installation, administration and Support of Network and Server infrastructure, including Routers, Switches, VLAN environments, Servers etc.
  • Resolving escalated end-user issues that cannot be resolved by the Helpdesk and Field Services teams.
  • Proactive maintenance & documentation maintenance.
  • Leading technical project delivery.
  • On-site consultation and support services to our clients
  • Training and mentoring colleagues.

Generally, you will work rotating shifts of 8 am-4 pm, 9 am-5 pm or 10 am-6 pm, Monday to Friday; candidates will also need to be available for occasional work outside these hours.

Successful candidates must also have full work rights in Australia (Visa sponsorship is not available for this role) and a current Australian Drivers Licence.

What you will bring to the role

While qualifications in IT or similar will be advantageous, significant real-world experience in a similar role will be more highly regarded. A team player, you will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where your flexible approach will ensure you can deal with constantly changing situations. You will also bring to the role:

  • Proven Systems administration experience, with experience in an MSP environment, highly regarded.
  • Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP and Windows 2012 through 2019.
  • Excellent knowledge of Networking technologies, including network monitoring tools like PRTG Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds and Cacti
  • Hands-on knowledge of virtualisation is essential, with VMware and HyperV preferred.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills will ensure you are comfortable in this customer-facing role and enable you to develop strong, long-lasting relationships with our clients.
