Interpack is growing quickly and, as a result, has an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager to join our team in Deer Park, VIC, on a full-time basis. Working the day shift, your hours will be 6 am-2 pm, Monday to Friday.

Your Next Opportunity
You will supervise and ensure the effective operations and production of our Printing, Crown Seals and Wine Cap plan and equipment.
Core duties:
- Day-to-day operations: ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate and cost-effective way
- Strategic planning: formulate strategic and operational objectives
- Leadership: supervise our manufacturing operations and lead the team
- Production maintenance: oversee the maintenance of all our equipment and machinery
What you will bring to the team
To thrive in this role, you will have demonstrated experience working in production in a manufacturing plant, ideally in industrial printing services. You will also have experience managing a team of people.
Continuous improvement is at the forefront of all our minds! As such, you will have previous experience working with lean manufacturing practices and have a strong understanding of kaizen and other lean methodologies.
We are looking for someone who has a sense of urgency and understands every minute counts. You will use your technical knowledge and experience in manufacturing to effectively problem-solve and ensure the high-quality production of our products.
Crucial to your success is your ability to lead and mentor a dynamic and hardworking team. As such, you will be a strong communicator who can be present and bring the team together.
