Your Next Opportunity

As our next Educator, you will be responsible for setting the high standards of care and experiences for our children. Under the direction of the Nominated Supervisor and Approved Provider, you will contribute to the overall success of the educational program while ensuring centre obligations are met with regard to relevant regulations, policies and procedures. 

Day to day duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with both children and families
  • Role modelling the set-up and delivery of engaging and rich experiences for children
  • Assisting with the smooth and compliant running of rooms
  • Contributing to the development of exceeding level or practices

What You’ll Bring to the Team

To be considered for this position, you should have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education as well as some demonstrated experience in a similar role where you have been proactive in the running of your room.

You will have excellent knowledge of the NQF and know how to apply these in your room set-ups and care for children. Your warm and engaging demeanour will allow you to build positive relationships with children attending the centre, their families and our team of educators. Your highly developed communication skills will ensure you can maintain accurate and up-to-date reports regarding observations, programming, and tracking the developmental milestones of children attending the centre.

Other requirements include:

  • Evidence of completed qualification or qualifications in progress
  • Willingness and ability to accept the role of Responsible Person under the Education and Care Services National Law Application Bill 2010 and Care Services National Regulations
