We now have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Receptionist/Administration Officer to join our North Adelaide team. In this role, you will be the face of our office and assist in the day-to-day running of our administration.

Please note: this is an 18-month contract with the possibility of moving into a full-time role for the right candidate.

Your next opportunity

No two days are the same! In your day-to-day activities, you will be responsible for completing a variety of reception and administration tasks across our LCA Churchwide Office.

Core duties include:

  • Welcome all visitors, staff and contractors to the office as the first point of contact either in person, by telephone or virtually
  • Front desk duties (answer the phone, manage the front desk, book meeting rooms, and handle all incoming and outgoing mail)
  • Oversee, stocktake and ordering of stationery and tearoom supplies and facilities
  • Assist with clerical duties (typing letters, schedules, minutes and presentations)
  • Assist with accounts receivable and payable processing for the Churchwide Office
  • Assist with events and gatherings in the office as part of the overall Churchwide Office Team
  • Maintain the Reception Procedures Manaual and ensure it is as accurate as possible

About You

To thrive in this role, you will possess previous experience in an office administration role. You will be the face of our organisation, and as such, you will be a bubbly and well-presented individual who is warm in their approach and can make people feel welcome.

It is essential that you have strong planning and organisational skills, a high level of attention to detail and outstanding written and verbal communication skills allowing you to form effective relationships. You will also have the demonstrated ability to show initiative and work autonomously.

Moreover, you will need to be comfortable working as part of a religious organisation and able to work within the LCA environment.

You will also need to be computer literate and confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
