The Opportunity:
Our team is expanding and our portfolio is growing! As such, we now have exciting opportunities for dedicated and driven Agronomists/Field Technicians to join our team full-time.
You can choose to work from our Beverley, WA base or our Esperance, WA base.
In this highly dynamic and exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and innovative methods to help drive the growth and sustainability of our crops.
Please note that travel to different sites is required for this role, and we will provide you with a car and cover your travel costs.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with delivering relevant research to achieve project objectives, including planning, preparing, monitoring, measuring, recording, and reporting trial developments.
- Support the delivery of in-paddock trials, including plot preparation, management, assessments and harvesting.
- Ensure safe and appropriate application of treatments and maintenance products throughout the trial life cycle.
- Develop and maintain relationships with growers and farmers in your area to position trials and communicate with them when required.
- Champion the values of Kalyx in your local communities and at industry events.
- Ad hoc maintenance and reporting assistance if experienced.

To thrive in this role, you will be a highly adaptable, organised and positive individual with previous experience working in the Australian agriculture industry.
We are looking for a driven and self-motivating individual with a good attitude and a strong willingness to learn. You will have a passion for agriculture, knowledge of research in a field-trials setting, and an understanding of grain growing, farming systems and rural communities.
Above all, you will be a people person, a team player and an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively build strong relationships and work well with a wide range of stakeholders, including your team members, our clients and farmers.
Moreover, you will take pride in your work and have strong attention to detail. An open driver's license is required for this role.
