Sport Education contributes to every young Territorian's success at school and resilience in life. The School of Sport Education NT works to build the capacity of schools and teachers to deliver quality sport education to all students in the NT using a physical literacy approach.
Physical Literacy incorporates physical, cognitive, social and psychological domains and develops not only physical skill and health but also brain function, social and emotional intelligence, ethical behaviour and resilience.

- Competitive salary circa CT1 $81,739 - CT9 $117,225 commensurate with experience + super

Big Rivers Sport Education Coordinator:
We look forward to welcoming a Sport Education Coordinator to join our team and use sport as a vehicle for students to engage, grow and achieve.
As the Regional Sport Education Coordinator, you will plan, develop and implement programs and processes that support schools and teachers in the region to implement a Physical Literacy approach to Sport Education.
You will also support the implementation of inter-school sport activities and work collaboratively with the Regional Sport Pathways Coordinator to support the Sport Pathways Program.

We are seeking qualified teachers who are passionate about creating positive change in the lives of young Territorians. To do this, you will have a growth mindset that helps you build strong relationships with students, parents, teachers and community members.
You will be an Australian resident or have permission to work in Australia and have relevant qualifications including a Bachelor of Education and a Working with Children Clearance, which make you eligible for registration with the Teacher Registration Board of the NT.
