About the Opportunity
If you're an experienced hands-on Retail Manager, then Mister Minit has a position for you in one of their stores in Balgowlah, Warriwood, Warringah Mall, Chatswood, Nth Ryde and Dee Why.
As a Retail Store Manager, you will lead your team to achieve overall financial targets by providing superior customers service to all clients.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Achieving all stated budgets and financial targets;
- Providing service that exceeds customer expectations on a daily basis;
- Maintain security of all stock, customer goods, cash and shop premises;
- Implement and maintain an adherence to Operating Standards and Guidelines;
- Ensure adequate stock control measures within the shop for shrinkage control; and
- Supervising and motivating shop staff ensuring they comply with company operating standards.
This is a hands on role, and you will need to 'get your hands dirty' on the shop floor on a daily basis. You will be experienced in performing the services Mister Minit provides - hand engraving, shoe repairs, key duplication and watch repairs. You will have outstanding communication and organisational skills, with a proven track record and creative approach to developing entrepreneurial businesses, and solving problems as they arise.
Candidates with previous experience as a Retail Manager are preferred, however retail staff with Supervisor experience will also be considered.
Mister Minit prides itself on rewarding and recognising hard work, with current Retail Store Managers earning on average $42,000 PLUS extra incentives. You will also be entitled to the company's bonus plan, where you can earn anywhere up to 10% of monthly sales!
