Cruiseabout was launched in August of 1996 after husband and wife Ross and Denise Blackmore, of Turramurra Travel, decided to build a specialist cruise business.
The Blackmores then set about creating a dedicated cruise centre staffed by focused and highly trained people who were experts in this sector of the industry.
In the ensuing years, Cruiseabout became the second founding member of the International Cruise Council of Australasia (ICCA) and has claimed a string of high-profile awards from Cunard (Gold Inner Circle status), NCL, P&O/Princess Cruises and Holland America Line.
About the Opportunity
Cruiseabout has an exciting opportunity for a hard-working, fun-loving and team-oriented Consultant to join their vibrant team, working from the Albany Creek Flight Centre shop.
In this exciting role, you will use your travel experience to cater to the frequent and more discerning traveller, who is in search of new experiences and the ultimate in cruise holidays!
If you would like to join this highly successful brand, you will ideally have several years experience as a Travel Consultant (preferably within cruise sales), an extensive and loyal client base and exceptional customer service skills. In addition, you will require extensive product knowledge and proficiency on Galileo or a similar CRS.
Alternatively, if you've been on at least one cruise and have a strong background in sales then you are also encouraged to apply!
