Blayney Shire Council is seeking a motivated and organised Administration Officer to join our Corporate Services team.

About the role
As our Administrative Officer, you'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth delivery of administrative services across Council. You'll support the Director Corporate Services and work closely with the broader Corporate Services team to assist with essential governance, record management, customer service and executive support tasks.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and values the importance of accuracy, professionalism and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide efficient and effective administrative support across council
- Deliver high-quality, confidential support to the Director Corporate Services
- Assist with the preparation of agendas, minutes, business papers and reports.
- Support councils record management and information systems
- Coordinate documentation for governance and statutory reporting
- Collaborate with other admin staff to balance workloads and cover absences
- Contribute to customer service, including incoming calls, counter duties and cash handling
- Ensure safe work practices and respond professionally to internal and external customers
- Attend meetings and support the productions of Councils documents

- Family friendly working hours - 8.30am to 5.00pm on a 9-day fortnight
- In line with Council's salary system, the salary for this position is in the range of $1,190.10 to $1,368.62 plus superannuation
