About the Organisation
Danila Dilba Health Service is a community-managed organisation providing free comprehensive primary health care services to Aboriginal communities in the Yilli Rreung Region of the Northern Territory. Danila Dilba is an all Biluru Governing Committee, whose members are chosen by the community, governs the organisation. Services are coordinated from the Main, Palmerston and Mens clinics as well as the ESWB Centre and Youth Service.
Danila Dilba Health Service Primary Health Care services are funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health, NT Government and FaHCSIA.
About the Opportunity
Danila Dilba Health Service is currently seeking a dedicated Quality Improvement Coordinator to join their multidisciplinary health care team in Darwin.
In this full time role, you will assist in improving services and health outcomes by working to implement service policies in relation to Continuous Quality Improvement.
More specifically, you will:
- Assist in the implementation of the ISO 9001 process across the Dinila Dilba group;
- Conduct clinical audits and systems assessments; and
- Provide feedback and advice in regard to Continuous Quality Improvement to managers, staff, the community and the board.
To be successful in this position, you will have a demonstrated background in Primary Health Care with knowledge of health care in remote / rural communities. You will need to be familiar with Patient Information Recall Systems, and experienced in CQI management or organisational change.
This role will suit an applicant with a strong capability for strategic and analytical thinking and the ability to motivate staff and facilitate change.
