Our small team of registered and enrolled nurses work alongside a larger staff of 75 to create a safe, comfortable, and friendly environment for everyone we serve.

With 55 beds, we provide a range of activities that can be tailored to suit our resident's needs. We currently have an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team at Medea Park, permanent full-time, part-time or casual. You will work on a roster with shifts varying between morning, afternoon and night.

The Opportunity:

As a caring professional, you will assess the unique care needs of each Resident holistically whilst in close consultation with them, their loved ones, and other healthcare providers. Our focus is on maintaining an environment that allows our residents to live and pass with dignity and peace, tailored to their unique needs. 

Alongside your team, you will create personalised care plans that promote health-sustaining behaviours, incorporate input from other healthcare professionals, and align with the Resident's preferences. 

You’ll be great in this role because:

With your relevant degree in Nursing, you will have a Current Registration with APHRA. We value experience in Aged Care, but we encourage all individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of others to apply, including graduates.

With a strong sense of empathy and a deep understanding of cultural and religious values from diverse backgrounds, you will be able to provide personalised care that meets the unique needs of each individual. Your caring touch and attention to detail will help to ensure that those vulnerable in the community feel safe, comfortable, and loved throughout their time with us.

  • Communication: able to effectively communicate with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Clinical knowledge: hold a strong clinical background of knowledge that allows you to pick up on even the smallest details, proactively addressing any issues that arise.
