About the Role:

Following an internal promotion, we are currently seeking a hands-on Senior HR Advisor to join our team based in Liverpool, NSW. In this role you will be a key member of the HR ANZ Team, partnering with the business, supporting managers and employees while ensuring HR best practices and compliance. 

Reporting directly to the Head of HR ANZ, you will play a crucial role in supporting HR functions across employee relations, performance management, recruitment, administration, and HR compliance. You will work closely with managers and teams to align HR strategies with business objectives, drive high performance and foster a positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as a proactive, hands-on member of the HR Team, providing advice, support and guidance to people managers and employees within the allocated stakeholders group.
  • Provide HR competence, direction, collaboration and leadership to HR contacts and local management.
  • Central point of contact for HR/ER advice; respond to queries regarding all human resources matters including compensation, professional development, employment, grievances, disciplinary, termination matters as well as HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in HR/management level meetings and strategy sessions that guide the development of people, programs and technology.
  • Support the HR programs including KPI Setting, Performance Management, Compensation Planning, Talent Management, Employee Engagement and Succession Planning.
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager ANZ to support the organisation with the best tools and techniques to source talented candidates and recruit them into the organisation.
  • Ensure policies and procedures fit the organisation culture, best practices and local legislation requirements.

 

About You:

To thrive in this role, you will be a confident and experienced HR professional who is able to navigate a diverse & dynamic FMCG environment. You'll have great attention to detail, a strength in problem-solving, a big picture perspective and the ability to think creatively. You'll be approachable, able to adapt your communication style to various audiences and enjoy building relationships. To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • HR Qualifications with 4+ years of experience in HR within a complex, fast-paced, and diverse environment.
  • Previous experience in FMCG or manufacturing industry with a global company will be a strong advantage.
  • Excellent leadership traits, the ability to communicate with influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of organisation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with excellent listening and interaction skills.
  • Solid business acumen and strong negotiation skills.  
  • Ability to apply diplomacy, lead difficult conversations with awareness to sensitive matters.
  • Resilience, and the ability to follow-through and drive results.
  • An analytical mindset and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage several projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • MS-Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel).
  • Previous experience with an HRIS and an ATS system will be an advantage.
  • High standards of Business Practices and Ethics.
