We now have a rewarding opportunity available for an Advanced Family Violence Practice Lead to join our team in Warrnambool on a part-time basis (0.4 or 0.5 FTE by negotiation).
How You’ll Make a Difference:
As our next Advanced Family Violence Practice Lead, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the leadership team at Emma House and the Orange Door to ensure effective family violence support services are delivered to vulnerable community members.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing specialist secondary case consultation and technical input on complex family violence cases and perpetrator interventions
- Providing specialist family violence expertise to the process of intake and assessment of responses to children’s safety and wellbeing
- Prioritising and approving referrals to the Risk Assessment and Management Panel (RAMPs)
- Supporting system and service improvements through systems implementation, continuous improvement of family violence practice, project delivery, and any other appropriate measures
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
To be considered for this role, you’ll need to hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related discipline, or have a willingness to upgrade to a Bachelor’s Degree from a Diploma. We're also open to candidates who are currently working towards these qualifications. You should also have prior demonstrated experience in a similar role.
Your resilience, communication skills, interpersonal skills, and highly developed emotional intelligence will be critical to your continued success with Emma House. You should also be an active listener, with the ability to relate to a diverse range of community members and stakeholders.

- A valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain prior to commencing employment
