We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Developer to join our team in Mackay on a full-time basis.

Your Next Opportunity:

As our next Senior Developer, you’ll have the opportunity to oversee a team of 3-4 highly skilled Developers. You’ll make high-level decisions in regards to the Mackay Sugar IT Department and be responsible for day-to-day delivery of software development while also fostering a collaborative culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Designing and developing software applications or systems

• Providing technical leadership to the development team, including mentoring junior developers and collaborating with cross-functional teams

• Contributing to the development of technical architectures, standards, and policies, while ensuring that software solutions are aligned with those standards

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

To be considered for this position, you’ll need 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in a similar role, as well as a tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related discipline.

Additional requirements include:

• Experience with application development with the Microsoft.NET Framework

• C# programming experience

• Familiarity with Azure and Azure DevOps
