About the Opportunity
Rational Australia Pty Ltd (Comcater) has an exciting opportunity for a Rational Chef-Sales Representative to join their team in Murarrie, Brisbane!
In this role you will draw upon your industry experience and expertise to identify new business opportunities, build and maintain industry relationships with key foodservice operators and Chefs by providing and offering catering solutions. The role is business to business selling in a wholesale capacity to retailers and resellers.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Achieving sales and gross profit targets for the territory;
- Support and implement company initiatives to enhance the company's market position in the region.
- Identify, acquire and maintain long-term customers of the company's products and services.
- Coordinate and conduct Rational Team Cooking Live demonstration program.
- Manage and conduct Rational customer training programs.
- Participation in National & Regional trade shows.
- Following up sales leads that are received from national and regional promotional activities.
- Using a CRM database to manage activities involved in the company’s sales process.
The successful candidate, must be a qualified Chef with a minimum of 10 years industry experience and have the ability to confidently demonstrate and offer foodservice solutions using the Rational product line. Previous sales experience will be advantageous, while the ability to build a rapport with clients and achieve sales targets whilst being a team player is crucial.
The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented, tenacious and possess a desire for success; you will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience in Microsoft products. A current driver's licence is required in this role.
Rational Australia / Comcater is offering an outstanding package, circa $80,000, (negotiable commensurate with experience) comprising of base salary, super and company car, plus the opportunity to earn over and above with performance-related bonuses!
