The Opportunities:

Laboratory Technicians/Concrete Materials Technicians (All Experience Levels Welcome!)

As a trainee or experienced Laboratory Technician/Concrete Materials Technician at ASCT, you will be responsible for conducting rigorous testing and analysis of soil and concrete samples, utilising our cutting-edge equipment and techniques. Your role will involve accurately interpreting test results, preparing detailed reports, and collaborating with our team of experts to ensure the highest standards of quality and precision. You will play a vital role in supporting construction projects and contributing to the overall integrity and safety of Australia's built environment.

Field Technicians (All Experience Levels Welcome!)

As a Field Technician at ASCT, your primary responsibility will be to visit construction sites and perform soil and concrete sample collection. You'll use specialised tools and techniques to carefully excavate and gather samples, ensuring their integrity and accuracy. Your role will also involve maintaining detailed records, adhering to strict quality control protocols, and collaborating closely with our laboratory team to ensure seamless sample transport and testing processes. Join us in this hands-on role and be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and integrity of Australia's construction projects.

What You Will Bring to the Team:

Whether you're a seasoned Technician or an aspiring individual looking to kickstart your career in the soil and concrete testing industry, ASCT has the perfect opportunity for you. As a trainee, you'll have the chance to learn from our industry experts and undertake certificate and/or diploma programs under our guidance, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the field.

We’re looking for:

  • Enthusiastic people looking to kickstart their career as either a Field Technician or Concrete Materials Technician
  • Experienced Technicians with the demonstrated ability to collect samples and/or analyse test samples in a laboratory setting

Candidates who have already completed a relevant Certificate or Diploma and hold a White Card will be highly regarded.
